Junior Advisory Board

The Junior Advisory Board (JAB) is a group of select rising community leaders roughly ages 21-32 who help guide and enrich The First Tee of Tampa Bay (TFTTB). Junior Advisory Board Members are specially chosen for their dedication to the mission of The First Tee and its impact within the Greater Tampa area. Working together, this group of key individuals will deepen TFTTB’s impact by helping to enhance the overall structure of the organization.

 

Meeting Schedule:                              6x/Year (including Annual Summer Swing at TopGolf)

Requirements:                                     $500 Give/Get* and volunteer at minimum of one youth event**

Term:                                                   One-Year Renewable, October – September

Primary Fundraising Focus:               Annual Summer Swing at TopGolf

To Join:                                               Application, Interview with Executive Director and/or JAB Members – Any time of year

 

*Give/Get – how much money is secured, not necessarily money donated, directly from a JAB Member. Example – JAB Member pays $100 and recruits 5 friends to each pay $100 for the Annual Summer Swing at TopGolf outing, counts as $600 total give/get for that JAB Member.

**For each additional youth event volunteered (more than 1), the JAB Member’s Give/Get requirement is lowered by $100. Example – JAB Member volunteers in 3 youth events during the year. The minimum Give/Get requirement for that JAB Member is now $300.

There are several other ways that Junior Advisory Board Members can assist throughout the year including securing or developing third-party events that benefit TFTTB, finding grants or other government/corporate support, participating in other TFTTB fundraisers, recruiting other Junior Advisory Board Members and volunteers to TFTTB, and more.
